Commercial cleaning and janitorial services in New York City
Recurring janitorial service for commercial facilities, built around a written scope, a fixed service window, and the building requirements that actually govern the work — access, insurance, elevators, and waste.
New York City
Operations begin October 2026
Not yet servicing accounts in New York City. Facility walkthroughs for October start dates are being scheduled now.
Commercial facilities only. Volga Task Services LLC has operated recurring janitorial accounts in Northeast Ohio since 2024.
Where this stands today
Three facts, stated plainly
A vendor that is straight with you before the contract tends to be straight with you after it.
Service begins October 2026
No New York City work is being performed before then, and nothing on this site should be read as saying otherwise.
Walkthroughs are open now
Scoping in September is what makes an October start date real rather than aspirational — insurance and building approvals take time.
The company is not new
Established 2024, running recurring commercial janitorial accounts in Northeast Ohio. New market, same operating method.
Services
What we will run in New York City
Recurring commercial work. Everything here is scoped in writing before a start date is agreed.
Recurring janitorial service
Scheduled cleaning on the frequency the facility needs — trash, dusting, vacuuming, hard-floor care, restroom service.
Office and workplace cleaning
Workstations, meeting rooms, pantries and circulation space, cleaned to a written task list rather than to whoever is on shift.
Common-area cleaning
Lobbies, elevator landings, corridors and stairwells in multi-tenant commercial buildings.
Evening and overnight cleaning
Work performed inside the building access window, so the space is ready before the first tenant arrives.
Restroom servicing
Fixture-count-based scoping, consumables responsibility named in writing, and a defined restock standard.
Day porter coverage
Daytime presence for high-traffic buildings — restroom checks, spill response, trash, front-of-house upkeep. Offered where the schedule and staffing support it.

Getting started
How an October start date actually happens
- 01
Facility walkthrough
We walk the building with you and measure what actually drives the work: area by type, floor surfaces, restroom fixture counts, trash points, traffic, and the access constraints above. Walkthroughs are being scheduled now.
- 02
Written scope and price
You receive a scope of work — tasks, frequencies, exclusions, service window — and a price for that scope, in writing. It is yours to keep and yours to compare, whether or not you hire us.
- 03
Building onboarding
Certificate of insurance issued naming the entities your building requires, vendor registration completed, and access approved. A start date is confirmed only after this is done, not before.
- 04
First shift, October 2026
Service begins on the agreed date against the written scope, with a named point of contact for the account.
Building requirements
Cleaning a New York building is mostly a scheduling and access problem
The cleaning itself is the easy part. What makes a New York City account work or fail is whether the vendor understood the building before quoting a start date. These are the items reviewed during an NYC facility walkthrough, so the service plan fits how the building actually operates.
This is a checklist of what gets reviewed — not a claim that we already run these procedures in your building.
Certificate of insurance
Which entities have to be named as additional insureds, what limits your building or lease requires, and when the certificate has to be on file.
Vendor registration
Building or managing-agent vendor onboarding, W-9, contact records, and any portal the property uses for approvals.
Security desk and worker rosters
Who is cleared to enter, how names are submitted in advance, photo ID requirements, and how a substitute is handled.
Service window
The hours cleaning is permitted, whether the building is tenanted at that hour, and what has to finish before the window closes.
Freight and service elevators
Which car is available to vendors, whether it is operator-run, and the hours it is released for cleaning use.
Access credentials
Keys, fobs, alarm codes, suite-level access, and who holds and reissues them.
Waste routing
Where refuse and recycling are staged, which compactor or set-out point is used, and how set-out times interact with the service window.
Restroom traffic and fixture count
Fixture counts, daily occupancy and peak load — the single largest driver of recurring labour in most buildings.
Customer-facing zones
Lobby, reception and any area a visitor sees first, where the standard is judged before anyone reads the scope.
Multi-tenant boundaries
What the landlord covers, what each tenant covers, and where the two scopes meet.
Building-specific procedures
Sign-in, quiet hours, protected finishes, loading rules, and anything the property has written down.
Escalation path
Who to call at 6 a.m. when something is wrong, and how fast a response is committed to in the agreement.
Honest boundaries
What we are not claiming
Every item below is something a competitor could say and we cannot. Knowing which is which should make the rest of this page easier to trust.
- We have no New York City accounts yet, and no New York City reviews. The first ones will be published with full attribution or not at all.
- We have no New York City office and no local address. Volga Task Services LLC is an Ohio company opening a New York City operation.
- We are not a union contractor. Buildings operating under a union labour requirement should not shortlist us.
- We hold no MBE, WBE or M/WBE certification, and no ISSA CIMS or Green Seal certification. We will not display a badge we have not earned.
- We do not do biohazard remediation, medical-facility cleaning, sterilisation, production-line cleaning, or specialty floor refinishing.
- We do not clean residential property of any kind. Commercial facilities only.

- A walkthrough of your facility at a time that suits building access

- A price for that scope, in writing, yours to keep either way
- Building requirements — COI, vendor registration, access — reviewed before a start date is quoted
New York City — questions we get asked
Are you cleaning buildings in New York City right now?
No. New York City operations begin in October 2026. What is open now is walkthrough scheduling: we will walk your facility, produce a written scope and a price, and complete your building’s vendor and insurance requirements ahead of an October start date.
Why should I talk to a company that has not started yet?
Because the walkthrough and the written scope are useful to you regardless of who you hire. You get a document that specifies tasks, frequencies, exclusions and service window, and a price for it. If you go with someone else, you keep the document and you have a real baseline to compare bids against.
Who is Volga Task Services?
A commercial cleaning company established in 2024, operating recurring janitorial accounts in Northeast Ohio — Medina County and southern Cuyahoga County. New York City is a second market, not a first attempt at the work.
Can you meet my building’s certificate of insurance requirements?
We are insured and can provide a current certificate on request. Whether our limits meet a specific building requirement is a question we answer against your actual requirement, in writing, before a start date is agreed — not with a number on a web page.
Which boroughs will you cover in October?
We are deliberately not publishing a borough list we cannot staff on day one. The first accounts will be concentrated in a tight geographic cluster so coverage and backup are real. Tell us where the facility is and we will tell you plainly whether it fits the October route.
Do you use employees or subcontractors?
Ask us this directly and we will answer it for your specific account rather than in the abstract, including who supervises the crew assigned to your building and how a substitute is handled. It is the right question to ask every vendor you shortlist.
What happens if my current contract runs past October?
That is normal and it is workable. Tell us your notice period and end date at the walkthrough; the scope and the start date can be written around it, with a transition overlap if your building needs one.
How fast do you reply?
During business hours, Monday to Friday. A walkthrough request gets a reply from someone who can actually schedule it, not an auto-responder.
